Olga went to school in Daugbjerg. After confirmation she worked for her uncle Ole Pedersen Balle in Demstrup. Then in Resen in two years and in Mammen in two years and somtimes at home.

1917-1919 she worked in a house in Copenhagen, and then she worked in a tobacco factory in Viborg until 1923.

She is still taking care of house and big garden in Canada.
May 1. 1924 they emmigrated to Canada. Johannes worked as a carpenter at summers and forresting at winters. Besides that he worked as a trapper.

They lived in center Ontario and was here till 1942, when they moved to the coast in Brittish Colombia.

Here Johannes worked as foremand on a shipyard in many years. In 1946 they bought a house with 1½ acres of land.

When Johannes died, Olga stayed home from August 16. to September 17. 1979.
